The hit of 2008/2009, last summer, this sea-side restaurant was packed to the gills from breakfast till the stars went out. Bar, restaurant, concert room, club, its future was still on hold as we went online. Either way, our firm hope is it will continue in a similar vein

A local classic, this bar-come-restaurant is open every night for dinner or for a simple drink in the beautiful courtyard that is entirely covered by a « floripondios » - a green plant that flourishes in summer. Try the famous Butia, a licor derived from the juice of a palm tree. Everything is served up by Josello, owner and busy host who somehow handles it all despite being blind.

Caught between Lo de Joselo and Sargento Garcia, this sophisticated, gay-friendly, restaurant serves up tip-top international (mainly brasilian and middle-eastern) cuisine in a candle-lit, cozy atmosphere. Ideal for a romantic dinner, the restaurant boasts a private room available for reservation and a terrace. Shoes have to be left at the entrance.
